Refund policy
Easy Returns – No Hassle Money Back Guarantee:
Our Outdoorbase Return Policy is designed to give you peace of mind, and we guarantee the quality of every product we sell. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from Outdoorbase, take advantage of our “No Hassle Money Back Guarantee” and return your unused item (in its original manufacturer packaging, along with any hangtags) within 30 days of purchase to receive a refund. The item must be returned in the state you received it, in order to receive a full refund. All returns are subject to evaluation by the Returns Department.
Refunds:
Refunds for new, unopened, unused item(s) will be credited back to your original form of payment, or to store credit (eGift card) if you prefer. Items that do not meet these criteria may only be eligible for refund via store credit (eGift Card).
Please allow 1-3 business days for returns processing once we receive your item. Once your return has been processed by our Returns Department, we will issue your refund within 72 hours. Your refund will show on your next statement; depending on your bank, it may take a full billing cycle for it to post to your account.
- New, unopened, unused item(s) will be issued a full refund of the original purchase price, less any discounts applied, to the original form of payment. Outbound shipping fees are non-refundable.
- All sales on Used Items are final under the Outdoorbase return policy. No returns, exchanges, or refunds on these items.
Return Methods:
With our Outdoorbase Return Policy, we offer several options to make returning your items easy and convenient:
- Sustainable returns drop-off points (Return Bars): We partner with Happy Returns by PayPal to offer box-free, printer-free, and sustainable returns and exchanges. Click here to start contacting returns, select the items you wish to return and tell us why. Then, locate a Return Bar near you and use the QR code emailed by Happy Returns to complete your return drop-off in less than a minute for a $5 flat rate return processing fee. Certain items such as liquids, hazardous or sharp objects, and oversized items (over 20″ on any side or over 10lbs.) are not eligible for return at the Return Bars.
- Mail-in returns (pre-paid label): Most standard size, non-hazardous items are eligible for returns via a pre-paid UPS shipping label for a flat-rate return shipping fee of $12. Many oversized items may also be returned for a $25 return shipping fee. Click here to start contacting returns, then simply box up your items, apply the label provided in the Return Portal, and ship them back to us.
- Mail-in returns (your own label): You may also choose to ship the item back via any other carrier that is convenient for you. Click here to start contacting returns, choose “Purchase your own shipping label,” box up your items, include the packing slip provided in the Return Portal so we can match your return up to your order, and ship via your preferred method. If you purchase your own label, we suggest choosing a method with tracking or insurance.
- Please pack your return carefully and securely to ensure there is no damage to the returned product during transit. Customers are responsible for any costs associated with the returned item(s) being damaged during transit.
- Returns automatically expire after 30 days. That means once you start your return, your Return Bar barcode or shipping label will only be valid for 30 days. Not to worry – if your return expires before you are able to drop it off, but it is still within the 30-day return window, you can go back to the return portal and start a new one!
Exchanges:
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. However, you can easily place an exchange order as part of the return process. Return processing fees are waived when you place an exchange order.
If you need a different size, color, or product, you may return your original item for a full refund in accordance with the Outdoorplay Return Policy and place an exchange order via our Returns Portal by following these simple steps:
- Click here to start a return.
- Select the item(s) you’d like to return, and tell us why.
- Select the “Shop on our site to find something you love” option.
- You will be redirected to the store to choose your exchange item and add it to your cart.
- Once you add the item to your cart, click “Continue with my return.” You will be directed back to the Return Portal to select your return method.
- Review the details of your return and exchange order, and then click Submit Return & Go to Checkout.
- You will be returned to the checkout screen to complete your exchange order.
